Run your business from anywhere, without the server closet
We plan, migrate, secure, and manage your move to the cloud, so your team can work from the office, home, or the job site with the same fast, secure access to everything they need.
Your server is getting older. Your business isn't slowing down.
Aging servers, VPN headaches, and surprise hardware bills hold growing businesses back. The cloud turns that into predictable monthly costs and access from anywhere, with security and backups built in.
On-site servers today
- Large hardware replacement every few years
- Slow, unreliable access when working remotely
- One power outage or failed drive away from downtime
- Backups that may not have been tested in years
- Hard to add people or locations quickly
With Marquis cloud solutions
- Predictable monthly costs that scale with you
- Fast, secure access from anywhere, on any device
- Enterprise-grade data centers with built-in redundancy
- Encrypted backups we monitor and test
- New users and locations up and running in a day
Everything you need to move, run, and protect your cloud

Not everything belongs in the cloud
Some providers move everything because that's what they sell. We recommend the right home for each system based on cost, performance, and how your business actually works.
Usually best in the cloud
- Email, calendars, and contacts
- Shared files and documents
- Applications your vendor offers as a subscription
- Backups and disaster recovery copies
- Anything your team needs from anywhere
Often better on-site or hybrid
- Equipment and machines on the shop floor
- Large design, video, or imaging files used daily
- Older applications that run poorly over the internet
- Locations with limited or unreliable internet
- Systems where long-term cloud costs outweigh the benefit
Our Cloud Readiness Assessment compares the true multi-year cost of each option side by side, so the decision is based on numbers, not a sales pitch.

Don't see your industry? Let's talk about your systems.
A proven path to the cloud
Every move follows the same disciplined process, so there are no surprises for your team or your budget.
Discover
We inventory your systems, data, and costs, and learn how your team works.
Design
A written plan for what moves, when, and how, with a cutover schedule and rollback steps.
Move
Data is copied and verified ahead of time, then switched over after hours to limit downtime.
Manage
We support your team, monitor the environment, and review cloud costs so they stay under control.
The cloud is only as secure as its setup
Most cloud security problems come from configuration, not the provider. Every environment we build includes these protections from day one.
Secure sign-in
Multi-factor authentication and access policies that block risky sign-ins before they reach your data.
Independent backup
Separate, encrypted backups of your cloud email and files, so deleted or encrypted data can be restored.
Least privilege
People and systems get only the access they need, with admin rights tightly controlled.
Ongoing monitoring
Regular security reviews catch risky setting changes and configuration drift before they become problems.
Pick the right first step
Cloud Readiness Assessment
A review of your systems and costs with a clear recommendation for what should move, what should stay, and why.

Questions business owners ask us
Will moving to the cloud save us money?
Sometimes, but not always, and we'll tell you honestly. The biggest benefits are usually avoiding large hardware purchases, predictable monthly costs, and less downtime. Our assessment compares the real multi-year cost of staying on-site versus moving, so you can decide with the full picture.
How much downtime will there be during the move?
Very little for most businesses. We copy and verify your data ahead of time, then do the final switch after hours or over a weekend. Your team typically logs in the next morning and keeps working.
Is our data safe in the cloud?
Major cloud platforms run highly secure data centers, but how your environment is set up matters most. We configure secure sign-in, access controls, and independent backups so your data is protected from both outside threats and accidental deletion.
Doesn't the cloud provider back up our data?
Not in the way most people expect. Cloud providers keep their service running, but restoring deleted, overwritten, or ransomware-encrypted data is generally your responsibility. That's why we add a separate, independent backup.
What if our internet goes down?
For cloud-dependent offices, we recommend a backup internet connection that switches over automatically. We'll review your connectivity as part of the assessment so the cloud makes you more reliable, not less.
Do we have to be a managed IT client?
No. Assessments and migration projects are available on their own. Managed IT clients get ongoing monitoring, security, and support for their cloud environment as part of their service.
